The impressive win against Italy recently makes me think that Russia might take all 3 points in this one. Of course Italy are in a bad mood recently, but a 3-0 is a 3-0. Earlier this year there was also a victory 2-0 over Denmark and a 1-1 draw against Uruguay more recently. Both these 2 teams are better than Czech Republic, who rely on a tired and bored Baros in attack. I think Russia will win this match and they might do it to nil. I don't understand all the hype of betting on Czech, but I guess it's just bettors who've seen value in Czech Rep odds. I, personally don't. I think Russia knows that the toughest challenge will be Poland in this group cause they will be bolstered by their fans. It's the first match and they must start well.

Poland should win this one, cause they're playing at home, which is a big advantage and Greece is one of the most accessible teams in the group(compared to Russia for example and even Czech Republic). They have a decent attack line and I really don't understand why is the under 2.5 so highly viewed. None of these two teams will want to play for a draw so they'll come out and play. Greece scores in almost any game they play and if both score than over 2.5 seems quite logical to me. Poland is the better side. They won two times against 2-0 against Greece in a friendly in 2009 and drew 0-0 afterwards in Greece. Results of Greece in friendlies include: 1-1 draw against Russia, Slovenia and Belgium and a 1-3 defeat against Romania. But, as I said before I consider that having supporters beside them will be a big advantage for Poland. I will pick home win and over 2.5, because I don't think that Greece will just stand there taking it.

The simplest bet here is over 2.5. The odds for that option are tasty too, considering the recent results. Turkey won 2-0 against Bulgaria and 3-1 against Portugal, while Ukraine recorded a 3-3 draw against Germany, a 2-1 victory and a 3-2 defeat against Austria and 3-2 victory against Israel(most relevant results of recent friendlies). Both teams will score here and Turkey might win, but just to be safe I'll pick the easy option: OVER 2.5

Serbia lost against Mexico, Honduras, Slovenia, Spain, France, drew against Cyprus and won against Armenia 2-0. They have not scored in 6 of the last 7 games. Sweden on the other hand are a team that scores plenty. They have won in the groups 3-2 against Netherlands and 3-1 against Croatia in friendly(I'm only taking relevant matches in consideration). They should win against a poor Serbia. Anyway, since it is a friendly, I will also cover the draw option, because in friendlies a lot of players are exchanged and a lot of tactical experiments happen. I don't see Serbia, however, getting more than a draw.

I have seen the Irish playing against Bosnia & Hertzegovina, but I dare to say that Bosnia are bellow Hungary at the moment. Even though they have an overall good squad, they don't have a coach with balls. HUngary got some decent results and have only lost against Poland recently, but you can't compare Poland to Ireland. Ireland are a draw specialist. They have 5 draw ended games in the last 10(qualifiers and friendlies and some of those draw ended games against strong teams, like Russia, Croatia and Czech Rep, whom Hungary has beaten 2-1). Overall I think that these 2 sides have about the same value and none should prevail. A 1-1 draw, probably.

Osters only conceded 3 goals in 4 away matches. They have conceded them all against Jonkopings in a 3-3 result(Jonkopings are the team with the best attack in Superettan, followed closely by Osters). Varnamo are a poor team overall, they scored 8, while conceding 19, but at home they scored 5 and conceded 7, drawing 2 and losing 2 in 4. They only lost 1-0 against Hammarby, the second team in Superettan. I doubt that they are capable of scoring 2 goals against Osters, which are a team that usually win 1-0 or 2-0 away from home, so I'll take the away win and the under 2.5 goals option. If it's the ordinary 0-1 0-2, I'll make a decent profit. If it will be a draw or a defeat with Varnamo scoring, I won't lose much.

Landskrona are strong at home, there's no denying that. They have won at home 4-1 against Hammarby in the last match. They have scored 10 and conceded 6 in 4 home games. Ljungskile are also high on scoring lately and they've recorded some nice results, mostly home. Away from home they have only won 1-0 to Umea(very poor team) and got other 2 draws at Brage and Varnamo(another poor teams), while losing 4-1 to Jonkopings. Considering those results, I would say that Landskrona are favorites to win this one, both teams will probably score and it's only a small chance for a draw. So the options are: home win and over.
