Ukraine must win this match if they want to advance while a draw will be enough for England to claim the second spot of Group D. If you followed this England team since their friendly matches before the start of this competition, you would notice that they are trying to play like Chelsea in the Champions League - defend in numbers and wait for counters. They did well to earn a point against France. In the second game, their coach had to change his tactics after Sweden led 2-1 at the beginning of second half. But Sweden spoiled England many times in the past so I wasn't surprised with the high score line in that game. This last group game is the last chance for England to test their tactics before facing a big test up front, either Spain or Italy we dont know yet.
Under this circumstance, I think the match won’t end up with a draw. Why? Because Ukraine will play offensively, because a draw means nothing to them. That suits England better, the Three Lions can relax and wait for opportunity to kill their prey. Remember, England's level is above Ukraine's.

I just can not see England losing this game. England is at the moment at the 2nd place with 4pts and Ukraine is 3rd with 3pts. This is last round and direct battle between two contenders who will go in the next phase. England didn't lost from France (who is IMO a title contender) while Ukraine has showed that after all is a 2nd class team compering to France, Spain, Germany, England. These are very high odds for England win, they should be like 1.6÷1.7 tops. England can not calculate in this game. Ukraine will maybe score 1 goal but I doubt.

A draw will send England to the quarter final, but surely their ambition must also be to win this group. They are strong enough to defeat the home nation Ukraine and I will probably back this 2.29 on the English win. I would not suggest that England played a great game against Sweden, but for once their mentality in a big tournament seems to be the right one.

England show very good play against sweeden and they are very close to qualifed in quarter final if they win against ukraina which its also very strog team with andry shevqenko. Its hard to prognose what will happen but england are more prepared to win . Ukraina have done very much till now so they could be happy for this .
